About me

I'm Ralvalie, formerly known as Sylvia. I've been drawing digitally since 2019 while developing my editing skills for fun.My programs are Ibis paint X (free), alight motion, and capcut (old ver). I draw with my two hands on a phone but I used to draw on tablet too with my hands. I yearn to try different programs to animate such as after effects or live2d– i might try to draw with a pen.
I enjoy animating my artworks but depending on the motivation and interest, it'll be left as static.
As of right now, I am trying to focus on doing animations and character designs. Maybe one day I'll make a whole MV for my characters.

Artworks

The Artstyle is focused on anime illustrations. The rendering style is messy and painterly. Usually the main color palette i used are warm colors.Advice
If i were asked what tips i advice to artists, just have fun creating! There's no rush or a race during your art journey. It'll be a huge rollercoaster with ups and downs but no matter what, please don't stop creating. If you think everyone is better than you, i would like to say that every artists is unique and have different paths, I hope that one day you'll see the beauty of your artworks.
As for how do i do that (rendering, composition, colors, etc) i would say that it's hard to explain because it's always go with the flow but I always rely on values for readability. I also like to purposely doodling or messing paint parts that isn't the focal point (which is mostly the face but it depends on the composition).

Fully rendered and animated illustration of my OC. This artwork is a experiment test of a golden ratio composition and applying what I studied for hair rendering. This is also the artwork with the most hours time taken due to repetitive overpainting and criticisms.

More artworks will be added soon if I'm comfortable enough.

Types

Refers to the commissions' types.
I decided to put it here because I don't have enough elements. Please refer to the commission website for examples.

Sketch
This is a type where I use grayscale to render roughly. Then i put on the characters' eye or hair colors with a filter. There are no examples of Sketch Animated so far.
Minimal Render
Alternative title is Rough Render. This is a type where the rendering only applies to hair and eyes while the rest only have a mix of cell shading and rendering. It's like sketch but with colors. This is a alternative type for fully rendered.
Full render
This is a type where most of the parts are rendered. Compare to sketch and minimal rendering, this has more colors. Scene like orders can be applied here.
MD chibis
Type of chibi where fully rendered and minimal rendering can be applied. The legs are much longer and the hands are like real hands comparing to SD. Recommend ordering this for Chibi splash art
SD chibis
Type of chibi where the style is either simple cell shading and minimal renderings style. The legs are much shorter and the hands are little circles. The simple static animation can be applied here. Recommend ordering this type for character interactions orders.
Animated Illustrations
Where the type 'Minimal rendering and fully rendered' illustrations can be animated. The animation style can be animation meme or loop animation but the prices may be changed depending on the amount of effort in one illustration or one scene.

Original characters

Most of the characters who appeared in my artworks are from the story titled Gambit and Covenant (GAC). I don't have a proper explanation what's the story about but the main element is to prevent the universe from destroying. Each individuals have a important role so everyone has their own stage. To elaborate further, there are no characters who are assigned main characters because everyone is the main character in their own story. Unfortunately not everyone has a developed lore because I have a lot of favorites.

To be continued.. do you know my no.1 favorite is Neissa? Yeah ok there's nothing to see here now!

Art Usage Guidelines

I don't accept people reposting, using, or altering my artworks (Eg. Removing my watermark or AI learning). Reference is okay but copying, tracing, stealing the whole artwork is prohibited. Even with credit, you need to contact me for permission to repost.
UNLESS it's a commission by you, a gift/freebie/art fight attack, i am fine with reposting or usage (such as uploading in toyhouse or using as pfp) if credits are added.
Studying of my artstyle is acceptable but i request making your studies of my art private. Although i don't think my artstyle is developed enough to be studied due to lack of skills in certain areas. Please don't steal or copy my OCs' designs as well. Inspiration of their theme, personality, and story are only acceptable only if you are doing this to develop your own OC and not a copy of mine.Failure of respecting this may result in a copyright strike, a warning from me, and awareness post. Regardless of all of this, i will still continue to draw. But please atleast respect this if you want to support me.

OkPut creditsNo
Using my artworks as reference or art study.Using the commissioned or gifted to you artworks as profile picture/banner, posting on toyhouse, etc.Using my artworks to steal, repost, trace, alter, heavily referencing that can be plagiarism.
Using my ocs' designs/stories as reference to develop your own.Drawing my ocs as gifts or freebies.Using my ocs' designs/stories to make a copy of my ocs.

Examples of things I don't accept when reposting, stealing, altering.

  • Animation complications

  • Gacha reacts. (If it's fandom works..?)

  • To impersonate or scam others.

  • Reposting on other platforms even with credits.

  • Claiming that you are the one who drew my artworks, faking that your a artist.

  • Etc

When you see people breaking the usage rights, please don't hesitate to report and spread awareness instead of harassing or trolling them. Please keep in mind that there are people who are clients or people I gift my artworks to– make sure to double check if they do break the usage rights. When it comes to impersonation or stealing, reverse searching to check if it's stolen or not may not work because I am a small artist. Try to check if my watermarks are there, usually there are hidden ones and just dive in with the dates and stuff. But it's okay if you fail to see that it's stolen. As for my socials, my username is usually @ralvalie or @Ralvalie (Except Instagram that is @ralvalie_). But i provided the socials on home that I am active on.
